More Benefits of Subscribing to Seattle Market Gardens

When you purchase a subscription:

  • You get to see where and how your fresh, organic produce is grown — gardens are within the city so it’s easy to visit “your farm and farmer”.
  • You help to guarantee an income for local farmers — the majority of the income generated from subscriptions is divided among the farmers.
  • Farmers have an opportunity to practice their English speaking skills with their customers.
  • The partnership helps the mostly immigrant farmers gain confidence and adjust to life in the United States, at the same time promoting community and healing for those who have experienced the stresses of war.
